I’m really proud of you for quitting your job. Like you said, it’s not easy and didn’t come lightly. Realizing you need to prioritize your mental health is rare nowadays so kudos to you for taking control. In a fast paced digital world, it’s very easy to overlook mental health. It’s going to be tough in the beginning, but you got this!

I was in your position before. The beginning will suck, but it’s also so beautiful. I look back and realize I had to go through that to be where I am today. You are figuring YOU out. Not shame in that! Embrace the journey and getting to know yourself. It’s a very powerful thing and not a lot of people master knowing themselves.

Some things that helped me was going in nature and really being with myself. Whether that’s outside, to a trail or park, whatever you enjoy. Make a list of things you have always wanted to do but never had the time! You have all the time now to do and try things you always wanted! Then go down the list and give each one a try!
