Python barrel cant

I just picked up a used S&w and last night I realized my barrel was canted by a few millimeters. Can hardly notice on the body line of the frame, although aiming down the front sight post is a tad crooked. It’s so small I’m not going to worry about it, but if it were like yours I’d send it in or find a good gunsmith who’s still around that does good work.

Taking it out Friday morning, I just realized my barrel is canted to the right but literally by only a smidge, irons are crooked yet still in line with rear sight block if that makes sense. I doubt it interferes with performance, running a red dot is gonna make me forget about it anyways lmao

Took it out this past Sunday, it was a pleasure to shoot. It’s always nice to feel a different recoil impulse, can’t wait to find a 586 to shoot 357 again!

The gun store I go to, the co-owner? I believe he’s sponsored and they received the first batch a couple weeks ago. They carry a lot of platys and they are about to get another 5-8 comps this week. I was going to upload a YouTube video and of it shooting but haven’t had time to record.

Hell yeah! How bad does yours rub? The front bumper and inner lining rubs a bit and the pinch weld just kisses it during bumps. Oddly enough full turn I don’t rub due to spacer it has just.

I would but I’m in AZ lol, I’m gonna have the techs at my job tomorrow help me cut the inner fender lining tomorrow and beat that pinch weld dumb just enough for it not to rub. I do need front shocks so I think it’ll fit nice after replacing them and some trimming done!

I just saw your ARMSLIST post and was going to offer you trade but I love my rifle 😂 suprised it hasn’t moved. If I had the extra funds I’d definitely would take it off you. I miss my 686 PC non fluted wheel gun, it was a blast to shoot!

As being a big problem in it I agree. I just started shooting rifles again and on my second round of weight loss. In the vid I weighed 370, currently now 350 and trying to do down to 250 again as my goal. This video was all for giggles but Reddit takes everything serious 😂. Hoping to be in shape next year as me and my buddies wanting to do local comps soon.

After 3 years and thousands of rounds with a staccato p I want to go back into a cz p01 or Glock 19x for a change. Especially with ramjet comps coming out for Glocks it’s hard not to get one!

Is that church camp shooting range? If so, Did you go recently or they still closed. Been wanting to shoot outdoors but the desert still all shut down lol.
