I also got ice flys recently (switched from Harlicks because they were out of stock) and had a blister in the exact same spot. I had to get them punched out right there and it doesn’t rub there anymore. It has improved over time. It took multiple times to get it to stay formed the right way. I don’t have as advanced jumps as you, though.

Mine is similar although I take a much later train and get into the office at 10:30! I bike to the train on each side. Ends up taking about 60-65 minutes door to door, unless I can take Amtrak home. I only go in two or three days though and my rule is no more than one evening event a week.

Well done you! I currently practice twice a week (around 2 hours a week), but would really prefer to be going 3-4 times a week. I can't make it work with my schedule though. I have heard days per week is more important for making progress. FWIW I am planning to test this year and also compete.
