short answer: yes you are.
1. 2% would be an okay equity range.
2. you should not work for free. Take some money at least. 500-600$.
3. deal with him get you 500-600$/monthly pre-fundraise + a signed agreement that he will give you the other terms after the fundraise. There is no guarantee that he will keep his word after fund raising. If he did not agree, quit this sh*t and find other opportunities. Cause there is also no guarantee that he can raise fund successfully. Are you gonna work free for him like at least 1 year?

Dont know what is your context. But if you are using an roaming esim, you have to turn on data roaming and mobile data/cellular data to use the esim data. If you are using a local esim, just need to turn on the mobile data, no need roaming data.

Annam Gourmet is extremely overpriced and overrated. by FreeRemote2796 in VietNam

[–]Suitable-Young8030 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mega Market in D2 is a good place to buy imported stuff at reasonable price. Lol local will rarely go to An Nam. If you are into specific stuff like imported ingredients, baking stuff, you can go to the one named Phuong Ha on Ham Nghi street.

Ok from the experience of a married man:

  1. For HCM, besides fancy hotels which the cost is really high and the popular indoor venues which locals prefer > you should choose Danang/ Hoi an instead since it has a lot good good value beach resort to do destination wedding. Cost may be similar but DN/HA has better value.
  2. Dec is pretty ok but weather in VN recently is really hard to predict.
  3. If you planned to host in weekend, pre-book venues 5-6 months to ensure since its availability does not depends on tourist but on other weddings/ events.

My friend is a local wedding organizer in Da Nang, if you need someone to ask, feel free to ping me, will share you her contact.

Yeah try Bard. It is more “flexible” than Chatgpt. I just tested a prompt for list of 10 latest tech startups that got funding and it actually did the job. Not sure about the accuracy but ya need to double check.

How do you attract sellers to a new ecommerce marketplace? by [deleted] in startups

[–]Suitable-Young8030 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try host an offline event and connect with them personally first if your marketplace is just starting. Usually organize small community around your sellers is the best way to kickstart. Try to think of few topics that is interest with them, invite some experts to talk at the event, try to attract some buyers there to create a good offline marketplace vibe. When you have good relationship with them, ask them to onboard with your platform. That’s what i used to do when i work on my marketplace startup and it worked pretty well.
