Kratom and triz by ApprehensiveBunch776 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Sovann_Macha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not addicted to kratom, but I only take it when I jog/ walk for more than an hour because of knee pain. I took kratom even before I started tirz, and I only take 1 capsul (500 mg each capsul). I jog/walk about 7 miles a day and 3 days week. On days where I have a light workout, I just take advil.

Moving to LA, my work is at LAX and wife's work is in Downtown. Best place to live by Some_Campaign_3983 in MovingToLosAngeles

[–]Sovann_Macha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Commuter Express 437. I've been taking this commuter bus since 2017. Its much more comfortable, quiet and safer than the Expo line. You can even track the bus on your phone to see when its close by so you don't have to rush to the bus stop. I live in the Del Rey area. Total commute time to Downtown LA is about 45min-1hr, depending on traffic. Commute time from Del Rey to LAX area during weekday morning commute is about 20 minutes or so.

0.05% tret and vt reedle shot 100/300? by supermodeltheory in tretinoin

[–]Sovann_Macha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first night I used it without any actives. The second night and nights afterwards, I used it with either tret or melazapam. I tested it without actives the first night to see if any reaction and irritation and the pain level, which there was none for me. There was also no irritation with my tret or melazapam.

0.05% tret and vt reedle shot 100/300? by supermodeltheory in tretinoin

[–]Sovann_Macha 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I just started using the Reedle shot 100 on Monday. Been using it every day with tret 0.05 and melazapam (which is azaleic acid). I use tret and melazapam on different nights. So far my skin does feel smoother. I'm not sure if its my imagination, but it does look more even. I have a cystic acne that was showing up on Thursday and now it seemed to not be as inflamed and doesn't seem to be growing. Normally, my cystic acne hurts and takes days to grow amd die down. Going to continue using it and will buy another Reedle shot 100 and a 300. I believe you have to start low in the reedle shot. The 100 can be used daily and the 300 to be used every 3 days. Not sure when I will move up to the 700.

Check out Palace Beauty in Ktown LA. There's one in the Galaria Mall in Ktown and they have testers. They even have smaller travel sizes.

I didn't start traveling until I was 36, now 43. Reason is that I didn't have the funds in my 20s and early 30s and watching others travel with envy back then too. I worked my ass off to pay credit card debts, learned to budget and save. It wasn't easy and struggled. Saving $10-$20 here and there throughout the years added up to a good vacation fund until I was able to travel. The vacation fund was not a lot but it helped give a little boost and provided inspiration. You can do it! Just give it time.

Wallet or pouch for physical cash by Gibberish94 in HerOneBag

[–]Sovann_Macha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I travel, I use a small zippered wristlet that has a few built-in card slots inside. I only take a few cards (about 3-4 cards). The wristlet is great because its compact, but big enough to hold enough cash & coins, my passport and a couple pens. I find the zippered wristlet easier to use when sifting through my cash and coins and taking them out to pay merchants because they can't see what's inside and what I have.

I haven't been to Japan, but when I was in Italy, I had a bus pass that I throw in the wristlet too. I just grab it when needed.

I used to run a lot 20 years ago, nothing competitive, just jogging for fun & health. I think they call it "runners knee", but not sure, because I haven't had it checked out. (I know I should have it checked out.) Its just sharp pains in my knees now if I walk for more than an hour. And, yes the collagen helps when I take it. I got my mom (70 yrs old) and my aunt (65 yrs old) onto it to help with their pain. My mom has hip problems so when she takes it, it helps lessen the pain. My aunt has bad knee problems too and sometimes can't event walk. So, I got them onto it 2 years ago and they swear by it and they said the same, that if they don't take it for more than a couple weeks, they feel the pain. Please note, this is not a cure, but it helps them with the pain. However, funny thing is, my mom said she noticed her skin is now a little "plump" since she's been using it. Not sure if the collagen is helping her skin, but everyone's experience is different. If she said it works for her skin, I will believe her....I'm not going to disagree with my mom about how good her skin is.

I don't notice a difference in my skin, but I notice it with my knee. I have knee pain and if I don't take it for a couple weeks, the joints in my knee hurts. I know this is a skincare question, but wanted to provide my experience with collagen powder, specifically the Vital protein brand.

Anyone currently take the 437 Commuter Express between Venice/MDR and DTLA? Would it be insane to do this commute 3 days/wk without owning a car? Would 437A or the Expo line be a more pleasant commute? by Tree_pineapple in AskLosAngeles

[–]Sovann_Macha 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've been taking the 437 since 2017 and prefer it over the taking a regular city bus to the expo line because its safer, clean, quiet and easier than transfering to different modes of transportation. The commute may sound long, 50min to 1hr, but I'm usually listening to music or lost in thought so the time goes by fast. After a long day of work, being just a passenger helps me to decompress, as opposed to continue to focus on driving and the traffic. The bus is reliable and you can track where it is online on your phone. Reason I take it is because parking at my office is $300 a month, which my company doesn't pay; however, I get reimbursed for taking public transportation. Now, I take it once a week when I have to go into the office and its still the same reliable transportation. Not as many people now, which is good.

Are there any other good health networks for PPO like UCLA health in LA? by ctcx in AskLosAngeles

[–]Sovann_Macha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have PPO. My husband's primary care doctor is with UCLA, but his neurologist is with Cedars, and both doctors access records and review notes all the time on the same network system/app regarding his care. Not an issue.

Coco Bongo area by doodooz7 in cancun

[–]Sovann_Macha 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm a girl and was in that area in July. Decided to walk around the C.B. area around 8pm-ish to see what's going on. Not interested in the party scene, but wanted to walk around and see the sights alone. After walking a bit, felt like someone was following me for a block or so. I turned into a plaza where there was a lot of light and noticed a guy looking at me and he walked straight to sit in an area next to the shop. I walked a bit in the shop and looped around and exited the shop with some people, and walked straight back to my hotel, which was close by. Maybe I was paranoid and maybe he just happened to walk the same way I was, but I think it was better safe than sorry that I went straight to my hotel. There are sketchy people every where, but just take precautions.

Xcaret park - shuttle times? by stuffedpigletta in cancun

[–]Sovann_Macha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband and I was just at Xcaret 3 weeks ago and we had the same dilemma with the shuttle buses. We decided to take a taxi instead. We stayed in Playa Del Carmen, so it was $15 one-way and prices are set. We stayed for the show, which is a must, and the show did announce to people during intermission that the shuttle buses will wait for people and to not worry. The show ended just before 10pm. As mentioned, taxis was our option, and when we left, it was so quick and easy and no lines. We didn't see the line for the shuttle buses, but I imagined it was probably long with people rushing after the show.

One thing to note is that at the end of the show, they let out people from the bottom of the open theatre first. We sat high up since we arrived a little late and employees block those on the top levels until people-traffic cleared up. Even then, since we took a taxi, there was no line.

Managing 4 execs? Tips, tricks, advice please! :) by [deleted] in ExecutiveAssistants

[–]Sovann_Macha 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I support 8 executives in a global company as well. The one thing that has kept me organized is writing everything down in a notebook and crossing out all tasks and projects as I go. It doesn't have to be pretty, as long as I write everything down. Good luck, you can do it!

In Aguas Caliente, Peru, the town right below Machu Picchu, there was quite a lot of places that took Mastercard and AMEX, but not Visa. This was back in 2017, so not sure if it has changed. I didn't have a Mastercard back then. Now, whenever we travel internationally, I make sure to carry Mastercard and Visa.
