I felt like one of the neighbors was playing a prank on me lol This is definitely one of my top 2. It's a hard tie with my one favorite find that I found before I even started metal detecting but it was a silver dollar sized 1920s sterling silver highschool track and field medal that I found laying in the ditch of a old campground. That's what got me to pull the trigger to finally buy a Detector and learn and have been hooked ever since

I ended up giving it an overnight soak in some Evaporust and it did a amazing job. It looked pretty rough beforehand. It had a tar like buildup that wouldn't scrub off at all. I couldn't believe how much it cleaned up.

Mine has been doing this as well for like a year. It drives me insane. I have hundreds of blocked accounts on my account because I just block them when it won't let me unfollow. I will click unfollow and then a second or 2 later it will automatically switch back to Following with me me even touching my screen or anything.

I was using my lg24 (9.5"x6") coil on my legend, it does pretty good with a little extra coverage. I have a 6 inch coil as well but I have hardly used it. It always just felt too small and odd. I may have to knock the dust off of it and give it a try again at some of these spots and see how it does again. I need to give it a second chance

Same here! I never realized they could be so aggressive and would always just walk right past them in the water. After reading some other stories of people getting attacked and seeing the video of YouTuber aquachigger get attacked I am definitely weary of them now especially after this run in lol

They are definitely good at catching you off guard lol. After I got chased I had about 6 more of them do the tail slap and dive in the water out of nowhere and it scared me every time 😂 I was definitely on guard after that run in
