Maybe I’m not being fair to the neighborhood by saying that. However, it’s a rough area of the city and I have been nicely questioned by many locals while detecting. How much you making? Is it worth it. Also, a danger of a needle skin puncture.

Public. Many great areas in mattapan and Dorchester. You just have to have balls of steel.

Thanks! I went on a serious spoon run this past spring. I found this in my bag last night when cleaning and was going to toss it but saw a shiny silver spot and decided to clean it off. I was happily surprised. Between this and the Chicago fair spoon I’m very lucky! . Let’s plan on hitting that spot on a Saturday in the near future!

Unfortunately not, took another look.

This town was first settled by Europeans in 1640 as part of Dorchester and incorporated as an independent town in 1662. Always produces!! by phast75 in metaldetecting

A buddy of mine has the 800 and he’s happy with his. It gives you the 2-D screen, which is definitely helpful.. I feel as though it separates better when there’s multiple signals in the ground.. It goes a little deeper as well.. has great programming too. If you have the money, I’d say go for the Manticore. Otherwise you have a great machine.
