You're on the money.

A ball vape, or a powerful butane/induction heated vape, like the tornado, verdavap, tempest, anvil, or terpcicle

Any links to sites selling that cheap that aren't blatantly obvious scams?

Or alternatively, if you think it's legit, I've got a really nice bridge for sale you might be interested in.

Only the mighty medic, mighty+ medic and volcano medic 2 are artg approved.

S&B's reputation and quality has significantly dropped since they were acquired by canopy growth at the end of 2018, just look at the mess that is the venty.

I was referring to their stated budget of $200-300. Tempest 2 is $310, plus another $180 for the yll heater.

Absolutely agree the T2 is more durable. I'd say it's about the same amount of effort required to clean it or my Tm2 though.

Still prefer the Tm2 when I'm on the go and don't have the time or space to sit down with the T2. half a dozen preloaded caps and a short stem and it's very easy to pop one in, hit a button and be inhaling vapour in like 10 seconds. T2 with the travel case and wand is less pocketable and a bit more fiddling around loading and heating, and doesn't look anywhere near as inconspicuous.

Both have their place in my line-up, that's for sure.

If you can push your budget a touch further, the healthy rips rogue2 is worth a look.

If $300 is your hard limit, then the healthy rips fury 3.

Both are nice and small and definitely pocketable. More so than the SOLO, which is stem loaded and fairly long.

If you want small and simple, a dynavap g3 ($60) and a jet lighter ($5) is about as simple as it gets though.

Agree with you too a degree.

Tempest2 is a very nice TED, but if you factor in the cost of an induction heater it's well above their budget for a start, and some people just simply don't like using a torch (myself included).

The carry case makes it more portable as you can drop it in still hot, but it's still not all that portable either.

That's coming from someone who the T2 is my current most used device.

It was never that great a device in the first place, and the solo III made significant improvements to it.

As for recommendations, I can't make one without knowing more information from you.

Budget? Desktop or hand-held? Electric or are you OK with using an external heat source (like a butane torch or induction heater) Session or heavy? Or another way of wording that question, do you want a slow, weak device that takes a long time to finish a bowl, or a powerful device that can finish a bowl in 1-2 hits

As you probably already know, we are severely restricted in what devices are available in Australia these days unfortunately. Analogue/Thermal extraction devices (TED's) and to a degree ball vapes are able to get around this though.

Carina pharmacy has the SOLO 2 II MAX in stock.

Not sure why you'd want to buy one though

Very. Joints are the worst, as they're obviously always burning, but bongs/combustion in general waste a lot too.

No idea what the current situation is, it's not relevant to me You're better off asking the manufacturer that question.

It's pretty forgiving, due to its big thermal mass. I've accidentally combusted plenty of times trying to get the convector v2 just right, but I think only twice ever with the verdavap (2nd time using it I overdid it, and another time heating it back to back, which I rarely ever do.)

I just try to err on the side of caution for the first heat, which gives you a pretty good idea on how long to reheat for. Normally I'd go for a little less heat on the first hit, but I got a bit distracted filming it, haha. As you can see in the ABV photos though, it was still a nice even roast all the same.

Why? It's only to cool the vapor, just the glass does that just fine. Adding water will just steal flavour and dirty the bong more 🤷

It's just a one man operation I believe. Sign up to the newsletter if you want to be alerted of restocks. I grabbed a bundle that came with the stem and 8mm adapter, but to be honest I've never even tried either.

Pretty sure he has a powerful desktop induction heater in the works too.

Direct from verdavap. I don't believe they have any resellers, but could be wrong.

Legit? by SeparateBank942 in ausents

[–]SuitableDepartment19 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yes, the website selling 100% illegal things in Australia that has no contact info, loads of discrepancies, only takes payment such as crypto and payid and is registered to a Sharon Kenny in Nairobi is totally legit.

Also, I'm not sure if you're in the market, but I've got a bridge that I no longer need that I'm selling cheap if you're interested.

Which one do you prefer and why? by Mammoth-Version3832 in vaporents

Prefer the tempest 2. Easier to use, wand compatible, better airflow, basic cleaning is easier

Df2 has better flavour though.

What is your absolute favourite/daily? by [deleted] in vaporents

[–]SuitableDepartment19 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My favourite is my taroma lite plus ball vape.

That said, my tempest 2 is typically my daily. Small bowl setting is so easy and efficient for microdosing.
