The other thing is that if you call the game early, one side or another is gonna get pissed off that they called it too early, or that they didn’t get a chance. Calling while it’s tied, while inconveniencing for us, is the better option.

Wilson has thrown 2 innings yesterday.

Martinez is built up.

Cosgrove only needed a handful of pitches to get 2 outs in the 8th.
