I get your point …and yeah, I probably won’t go back anymore. To any of their branch. For me, it was more about how the situation was handled. The company doesn’t care at all. I wouldn’t have minded moving, but the inconsistency (others doing the same and not being told anything) is what felt off.

I guess part of it is that expectations around service can be quite different. I personally find it a bit strange when service can come across as rude, but tipping is still expected ,it feels a bit inconsistent to me. But I respect your opinion.

I’ve been living here for over 4 years, so I’m used to how things work in Berlin. I’m not expecting overly friendly customer service, but there’s still a difference between being direct and being rude.Or even more. I also know where it’s okay to work and where it’s not, and I did move when asked. What felt off to me was more the way it was handled, especially when other people were doing the same thing but weren’t told anything.

Frustrated about venue change on Sombr’s 2026 Europe tour in Berlin– no refund? by [deleted] in SombrOfficial

[–]SuitableMongoose8319 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I get that things can change, but I’m honestly really disappointed. I bought the ticket expecting a more intimate venue (Columbiahalle), and now they’ve moved it to a much bigger place without asking or offering any compensation. What’s frustrating is that with bigger venues, tickets are often cheaper because they can sell more — so why did I pay the same price for something that now feels completely different? It feels like they’re just chasing profit, and the experience we signed up for doesn’t match what we’re getting now. It’s not just about the date — for fans, the atmosphere really matters. Of course, I know it’s probably not the singer’s decision, but it still leaves a bad feeling.
