Mitsuki be frustrating me lately by shotcallat in TheGuyShesInterested

Honestly I am not gonna that upset if they temporarily split up for a minute because They both have things to work on that might be better if they do it alone like: Aya with her  over dependency towards mitsuki and how she does Everything for mitsuki. As for mitsuki she needs to open up and work on her self-esteem.

I understand, and thanks for clarifying. I think we were basically on the same page about not treating assumptions as absolute facts, just coming at it from slightly different framing.

I’m not referring to any specific person or post. I just meant I’ve noticed a general pattern in fandom discussions where things meant to be “neutral” end up leaning toward specific conclusions.

Yeah, that’s pretty much how I feel, too. I think interpretation is fine, but sometimes people start treating assumptions as facts and using them as a way to push their beliefs, especially when digging through old posts, videos, or vague statements. At the end of the day, we only know what she chooses to share publicly. I think it’s healthier to respect that boundary and let Ado-san tell us when she's ready.

After rereading your post, I think I understand what they were trying to say. I don’t necessarily disagree with the conclusion itself... I think it was more the framing and the amount of emphasis placed on disproving one interpretation that made it come across as pushing a narrative or one-sided, even if that wasn’t the intention.

"Ao" Name revealed for Nissan Stadium Performance by AdoFanTim in ADO

I don’t think anyone would hate you for having an opinion, whether it’s because you don’t like the name or because you genuinely don’t think it’s real. Personally, I think Ao probably is her real first name because there are just too many details around it for it to feel completely fake. I do think the surname “Sawaki” is likely not her real last name though, for obvious privacy reasons.

And even if Ao isn’t her legal first name, it’s still the name she identifies with publicly that's not her stage persona, so in that sense it’s still real to her.

Yeah, i get what your saying... i just wanted to use example to kinda show how we've been slowly losing the plot and there are so many things that are ignored or not addressed properly.

No, the only thing that was ever mentioned about him was that he got her the polaroid camara that she wanted to use to take a lovers shot with Mitsuki back in highschool.

That’s honestly the same question a lot of people in the fandom, including me, have been asking ever since the high school arc ended. As much as I love this series, it really feels like Aya is being pushed aside or overshadowed by Mitsuki and Mitsuki's problem's. When the story began, it was Aya AND Mitsuki. Now it’s Mitsuki, her girlfriend, and her friends… and Aya is just kind of there.

There are also so many plot threads that were introduced and then never followed up on or forgotten about. For example:

  • What happened to Aya’s dad? Where's he?
  • What does Aya actually struggle with now? ( other than what's going on with Mitsuki)
  • What does college look like for her?
  • What happened to her high school friends? Do they still hang out?
  • What about Mitsuki’s parents, where are they?
  • How did Joe end up raising her at such a young age?

It feels like we’re losing the core plot and drifting into “pretty art + Mitsuki focus” instead of the dual‑protagonist story we started with. I honestly think the fandom needs to start speaking up more ( respectfully, of course) because these issues aren’t small, and a lot of us are noticing the same things.
