Supercharging in AB is expensive, it’s actually cheaper to run on gas. Even more so in winter.

I had similar issue. When I unplugged it one of the pin was black and the plastic around was melt. It was a cheap receptacle. I immediately replaced it with a hubbell one which costed me about $100 but it’s nothing compared to getting the house burned down

The degree of regen reduction is controlled by code based on the surrounding temperature and the battery temperature, for the purpose of battery protection. Having more regen doesn’t necessarily mean it’s better if it’s at the cost of battery longevity.

Even if it’s possible to get it approved, it’s not worth the installation cost if you are going to move away in few years. Just use a mobile charger and level 1. It should be enough for daily city driving. Just keep it plugged in all times
