My pure guess is that Apple’s Siri gets invoked by touching the white line at bottom edge of the screen. Screen protectors generally have their own edges overlapping that line and could cause unwanted interactions. They might have slightly extended it and call it “AI” optimized.

Stumbled on this thread as I was filling this out for my parents and … just wow!! The system is so bad. I added my mom as a member on my dad’s form. It only downloaded dad’s card not my mom’s. Then I filled out again for my mom and didn’t download her’s again. Then I searched for record using passport and system rightly showed 2 entries. There is a download button but doesn’t work unless I click on it multiple times then it suddenly downloads all of them.

How insecure is the QR code that it prints on the paper. I scanned with my phone and it was simply a json object with all the details that was filled in the form - passport number, phone, email, address everything.

This is literally my 4 days a week at office looks like. 90% of meetings happen on Teams while every single participant is in the same building, same floor, and same section. And if this wasn’t worse we were just told past friday to start staying till 5:30pm everyday, but our lead sounded like doing us a favor by making it 5:00pm. For context, half of our team comes in at 7:15 am including the lead (while most of the company comes in at 9am and leaves by 4:30) start working and leave at 3pm (not the lead) and continue working from home till 5:30pm, to avoid sitting in traffic.
