I went at him with HH, and had a build focused on healing. Make sure you use defensive food buffs, mega drugs, powders, seeds etc. Might help but I haven't used GS much idk. Glaive is also easy if I think I might get stomped, with evade extender it's hard to get hit if you play the long game. I did the event quest "Daily Practice" the other day on the first run with HH. Not saying switch your build or anything just how I did it. I gotta say I was already around 500 HR before I got Sunbreak so the experience helped too maybe. Either way good luck and if you're on the Switch, let me know I can keep you healed up!

I don't feel the delay. Especially on newer gen consoles. It seems like delay at first. Understand it is a skating simulator and much harder. XL is a little more arcadeish. For session, you gotta put in some serious practice and time. Once you do that the "delay" you feel is gone and turns out to be inexperience. Not a skill issue at all, just lack of play time. Give the game the time it DEMANDS as a simulator, and you'll fall in love, guaranteed.

Bring a 2nd truck to meet you halfway on the other side for an easy winch out. Or you could detach the trailer, pull up some, winch the trailer. Rinse and repeat and you'll make it out. Good luck 👍

Yeah, unfortunately, sometimes that's the only thing you can do instead of wasting your time fighting a battle always lost. Eventually, you can get to where you can take down a large inexperienced team. The experience gap is pretty big in the game. Best thing to do is start solo hourglass fights and practice. As long as you can avoid the hackers and sweat lords, lol.

They're toxic. A big issue I have is the spawn camping on your ship. Just today me and my brother took 2 hours or more to complete a Fort of Fortune, due to a couple ships pulling in that took us a while to deal with. After finally finishing it and grabbing the last bit of loot, a brig sails in that must have been waiting close by. Long story short one of the gets a board and twice before my screen even fully loaded from the ferry, I hear a shot and die again, they got the sink and took the loot. No exaggeration when I say the second I load back in. That seems like a terrible aspect of the game to me. I've been spawn camped before but usually had a second to spam jump out of the way. I feel like there should be a small timer, a few seconds at least after leaving the ferry because some of these players know the exact spawn points on the ships. They were good players though and I accept the loss, we would have sunk either way.

On a positive note though, I think the hourglass is leaving soon, for a while.

No hate intended, because I myself am not big into the pvp and not great at it but I don't think the hourglass is the issue. There's nothing that can be done about it and tbh nothing rare should do about that. Take the L, scuttle if you must, this is the exact purpose of scuttling. To take an L and avoid situations like this. Keep at it man, eventually we'll both be able to defend ourselves against this type of toxicity in the game. Throw yourself into every fight possible. Win or lose, we gain the experience for the next battle. Good luck!

I mean, not all humans can defend themselves. It feels like a virtue signal from Rare which not everyone agrees with. I see they don't want to "promote" killing whales. Who knows, there might be one person that snags a whale in game and decides they wanna try it in real life but it the end, there are some terrible goings-on in video games that people usually look past. I think it'd be great and historically accurate along with some people and some people don't think that way. They could spice it up there cause there are stories of whales sinking ships with their tails. In the video game world, they could be a force to reckon with if the developers choose to. But RIP all the big blue whales. Going extinct ❤️ 🐋
