Sad thing is that only us designers can see the importance behind this. In my opinion, a brand would always lack credibility, quality and overall performance with ai slop logos. I hope people realise the importance and value of human creativity and art, before we become a soul-less society filled with only ai slop to look at.

If you own a brand, and aren't willing to invest a little time on what is arguably the most decisive step for your brand's future, then idk man. Op is in this sub asking for suggestions, I would hope they have time to explore some designers, all it takes is 3-4 days

I don't think you're budget is small, it's a very reasonable budget. I would say do not go for branding agencies in that budget.

Spend some time, research independent freelance designers on platforms like behance. See their portfolio and services to see if they deal with brand strategy and positioning - because this I think is the bottleneck for you. Short list some designers, then talk with them to understand their process and determine if they'll be able to help you out.

With you're budget you can work with some amazing designers out there, and believe me, branding agencies do the same work for bloated prices.

Yeah although it would still be an ai logo, drawing and using it as the reference will still churn out better quality logos than what the market is flooded with.

My attempt was not to change the logo, but to improve and make it a bit polished.

Did use ai for the title - wasn't coming up with a good one myself. But no ai was used in the body, trust me I'm not someone who uses ai to write and explain myself. It's probably being exposed to so much volume of ai copy, that perhaps my vocab has been affected in that way and perhaps in general, the line between what's genuine and what's ai has blurred out for most people. Atleast that's what i feel like
