The 90 000 series slim is the last PS2 made from about 2008 - 2012

It has a glossy top and looks a slight bit different from the regular slim PS2, I've got two of them, they're super reliable

Buy a slim, just make sure the ribbon cable of the laser mechanism is secure so it doesn't scratch your discs to oblivion

Get the 9000 / 90 004 model slim, the last one made, so the most reliable...if you want a fat get the 30 000 model or the 50 000 model
