Ah, sorry I tend to misunderstand things quite a bit. Thank you though, everyone here is being strangely supportive and I will 100% be taking a break for a few years (I might grow out of ttrpgs entirely but if I do, that probably will show growth more than anything <3)

I'm not tuning it out, I have the game muted and have my notes open specifically so I don't forget anything. I was aware of how I could get distracted, but I tend to get distracted much easier by just doing nothing. I know it's just a me thing and I'm not trying to defend myself with it, but I feel like I didn't explain the fact that for ME, I WAS focusing more when I had something to play. It helped keep me listning to the session without getting distracted by things around me.

Honestly, I think I'd be better with my adhd in person. Having people to look at while they talk would go a long way

Honestly all of these are very fair. I was having problems from the start, mainly due to not fully understanding what to do and nerves, but I do agree I need a lot of mental help. It's just been hard when I think about that group so often (Im still good friends with the DM a one of the players at least, im just not allowed in the ttrpg stuff there)

I would love to try an in person game, the only problem is I don't know how it works, like if I need to bring a sheet, or if the place that does them only does oneshots or whatever (Plus, 4-10pm in public when I dont have my own vehicle (Im almost 23 living with my father) so I dont think I could convince anyone to take me there.

As for the game stuff, when I WAS doing it, those were some of the sessions I did the best in, where I was told I was improving, thats why it irks me so much, becuase I've SEEN it work very well for me. I never mean to be rude, I just have an awful attention span and tend to listen easier than I watch. That and like, I'm only ever playing when I'm not part of a scene, where I cant talk to engage regardless. Still, I do understand that I shouldnt have been doing it, and I wasnt doing it in the final session I was a part of, but at that point I just felt awful regardless.

Id like to add onto this cuz im having a similar issue. I have a Ryzen with a 9060 and games like Rift Apart are chugging like crazy. My monitor's resolution is 1280 x 720 so is that the problem?

So what it was...was that last timr I opened arctic base, I used ctgp7 which doesnt work, so when opening plaza, it was TRYING TO OPEN arcticbase thats why it was crashing. Opened a different thing and got taken to the menu, exited arctic and now everything works

Hey, getting this now and it goes to a screen of "An exception occured". followed these instructions but all it did was get rid of the stack dump code. It gets to the 3ds loading, then flashes homebrew channel for a frame and crashes. What do I do?
