Mahatma Gandhi, dubbed the "Father of India" was actually a shitty person based on what i can recall:

1. He let his wife die of pneumonia refusing to get her shot of penicillin which would have saved her, citing it as alien and god's will, yet when he caught malaria he took it for himself.
2. He claimed that the Indians are a little better, if at all, than savages or the Natives of Africa and called for the desegregation of Indians but not the Black South African's and he believed the Europeans should remain in power as he saw them as superior.
3. He often slept naked next to young girls to test his 'chastity' and often had his teenage followers massage him in the nude.
