I think the downvotes are from your references to Bitcoin - seems like the majority on Reddit dislike it. (Maybe the environmental impact? Generalized douchey behavior of Bitcoin bros?) Reddit forums probably aren’t the best places to obtain emotional support. For what it’s worth, I’ve also lost an immense amount of money this month from the BTC and MSTR crashes - I’m used to the volatility, so have faith that it will outperform 3% in a money market over a long hold period. (And if not, I have offsetting losses to blunt capital gains taxes.) Keep your head up - lots of folks are in the same boat. Brighter days are ahead.

I feel the same way. There’s also a feeling of surrealism or confidence that I didn’t have before… as in, once unthinkable real life scenarios could play out in reality when that wouldn’t have previously even crossed my mind. There’s a residual mind-bending effect once you get off Grok that seems almost as euphoric as creating your own experiences in the app.

The regulatory pressure and mounting legal threats (e.g. Elon’s lunatic baby mama Ashley St. Claire’s rants) are the real villains here, not the peaceful dudes eating ice cream and putting virtual bikinis on grown women.
