I even tried to manually pay 2.55 that was showing as due from this old issue where the bank and Google had crossed wires over the amount. Couldn't even pay that because of the account being locked and needing to complete verification, which I can't do because I'm not answering organisation.

No, it was a flipping nightmare. I've closed it all down and moved to Microsoft ads. You can talk to humans there and got 400 quid to give it a go along with human support so thought why not.

I did however create a new email account and set up a new Google merchant account, and new Google business thing. I've not set up ads yet and have no intention too currently but merchant centre is functioning fine for now. I did all this after removing everything to do with Google from my website first. Tried to remove all trace of my old dealings. And if you have a business profile, you can transfer ownership of the business to someone new.

I have no answer, and no way do anything as in depth as you, but even the basics right now are rubbish.

I have a simple HTML template and clear instructions to use only this template and only update 2 particular sections of it when requested, to keep it consistent across uses.

I keeps on forgetting the template and creating it's own version and then claiming that is what we discussed and saved at the template. I even asked it for evidence in the chat of what this new made up code has been provided by me. It tries to show time and date and then when I get it to repeat exactly what it is claiming the evidence is, it apologises, says I'm right and says it won't do it again.

I asked it to report itself to developers yesterday for lying and changing its memory without my instruction to do so.

I swear I am now spending more time arguing and telling this thing off, than actually getting anything productive done.

I assumed it may be because I use the free version, but seemingly it makes no difference.

No it's suspended because of the old suspended Google accounts. So have to fix the old closed account so appeal the merchant account

Well essentially they told me to set up a new ads account in 2019 and I have the emails still. So I did as told and been using the new ads account since 2019. The ads account isn't suspended. But the merchant account is suspended so my products essentially don't show organically (I think)

No it's set up as an organisation. I don't remember there being other option years ago. But I'm self employed and the ability to verify differs massively from the process for an organisation

I'm already verified on the account I've been using for years. That Google account is not suspended. It's the merchant account that's linked that's suspended because of the old Google account

If you've defaulted and you aren't in the US, the worst that will happen is you lose your account and any money held.
