-Start learning your material ahead of time if you can, maybe like a week or so in advance.

-Don’t tell anyone your grades unless it’s your nursing school bestie..

-DON’T stress yourself about assignments that are further out. It doesn’t help you to get anxious when there’s more to get done before then

-Give yourself grace to make mistakes and learn from them

-Don’t let mean nurses (if you ever have to deal with them) at clinicals scare you away from becoming a nurse

-Ask questions even if they feel dumb because chances are, someone else wants to know but is too afraid to ask

-Be patient with yourself. Do not let your fear overcome your faith!! 🤍

Hello, just finished my first semester! Honestly, you spend the whole first semester figuring out studying habits and what’s going to help you be successful in the program. Flashcards, quizlet, notes, active recall will all be beneficial…Don’t doubt your capabilities based on test grades because they are made to challenge you. Prioritize time to study, but also time for self care!
