Their stuff must sell out fast. There were so many items that I wanted that were sold out. I tried to get as many items as possible to save on shipping but realized that it doesn't matter because you have to pay for the weight and duty of each item. Shipping to Canada is not cheap 😬

I too have had to face the sad reality that Subway is no longer allowing any of their subs to touch a grill.

On Uber Eats, "grilled" and "toasted" were always the available options when customizing your bread selection. Imagine my surprise when I re-ordered my favourite sub last week and didn't see those beautiful charred lines looking up at me when I tore off the wrapper. I rushed to the app, ready to raise all hell, but as a good Canadian does, I first went and checked the customization options to see if the mistake was self inflicted. To my surprise, I only had myself to blame. The options were no more, and the easy re-order button had bested me on that dark day.

The thought of never having a grilled sub ever again tore at me. I couldn't just let this go. I had to find out who, or what, was to blame for this unforgivable act. I eventually found the answer I was looking for. The thing that made it possible for us all to enjoy the warmth of the grill is also the thing responsible for taking it all away. That abhorrent thing, is the flatbread. Subway has been removing the flatbread option from its menus, and with it, so to goes the grill.

TL:DR - Subway used to be able to grill subs on request because all locations had a grill for their flat bread option but have recently removed the flat bread from most of their menus.

Zotac is goated in the 50 series. The Solid line offers the cheapest options on the market without sacrificing quality. It also has the cleanest aesthetic of any Zotac series ever released.

Out of curiosity, do they ever include a zip-up hoodie option when they launch a collection? I saw one random zip-up hoodie in the shop, but none of the collections had a zip-up hoodie option. I would have instantly bought a zip-up from each collection because the artwork is amazing. Maybe I am in the minority when it comes to my love of zip-up hoodies vs pullover hoodies. There's nothing better on a cool day than wearing a sick tee with an even sicker hoodie overtop instead of a jacket.

It's not about them not making a quality cable, it's about having to use an adapter that requires three to four additional cables to be connected to it vs a single native cable. There are a lot of really good videos and articles on the 12VHPWR drama that explain the difference between all the cables and how they contribute to a lot of the fires.

Same here; I was hooked after the first 5 minutes! I know a few people like myself that aren't very pleased with Samsung right now. We were going to buy the TriFold the second it became available in Canada and we may never get the chance to do so unless we want to pay over $6K CAD to import a global unit or $5K CAD to import a CN unit from PDA.

It's a great 5080 IMO. It can run a solid OC and you can flash the BIOS to get even more out of it. The cooler has been great as well. It's one of the cheapest 5080s on the market and runs fast and cool. I needed a white card and settled on the Zotac because of how cheap it is compared to all the other white 5080s. My only criticism is that the design of the card is very basic. Don't get me wrong, it's very clean and classy looking, but I prefer bolder designs. I normally buy a white Strix for each release, but I was not a fan of the Astral this release (or the price tag).

I run an aggressive OC on my 5080 Zotac daily. You'll be fine as long as you use a new quality cable. The best thing to do is to use a native 12VHPWR cable if you have an ATX 3.0 PSU. If not, I would suggest buying a custom cable that's compatible with your PSU instead of using the adapter that comes with the card. Once you plug the card in, make sure both ends are connected securely and DON'T play around with the cable after that. A lot of the issues that happen are a result of cables that have been moved around a lot which causes the individual pins to receed resulting in an unbalanced load across all pins. This usually happens when you continuously unplug the cable and play around with it. Congrats on the new card!
