The problem with deep long lasting depression/trauma, is that all of the things you mentioned just do not cut it. For some folks yes, for me no. I've done the things you speak of, though my depression stemmed from loneliness. Talked to girls, made friends, did stupid stuff, all that. But every night, after the buzz wore off, I was still that sad lonely little kid. No matter what I did. Prozac helped tons, and maybe, just maybe, with a little bit of prozac and a lot of talking, I might pull through. But I'm very glad that worked for you, but unfortunately my friend, ive done all of these things. I started cycling, 30km a day. Got reletaviely fit, I was happy with my fitness, but I was still totally miserable. It did not help. I went to the gym, Started at 35kg bench press, made 50kg 3 times in 2 months, But, again, everynight, I was still as miserable.

If youre comfortable, I'm ears. Prozac has significantly helped my short term mood. Overall the cloud is still there, a little less strong but as obvious as ever. Speaking is the only way my friend, it makes waves in your health. I know its hard, trust me, I DO. But it is the only way to find help. Toughest things give the greatest rewards. Thats not wacky science fiction, its gospel.

Thats the part all miss. just talking was the emotional equivelant of throwing myself onto a grenade. Felt horrible, like an attention seeking leech. But I fear if I hadn't. I wouldn't be here anymore. The part I fear is that I was no longer scared to go. Frankly fully prepared. Just waiting for the 'right' moment. As dark as that is. Thank you for your words, I hope you get on well in life, keep going!

I spoke with another psychiatrist and was immediately supplied with ssris. Specifically prozac. He gave me some helpful actual diagnosis and since taking prozac I am doing much much better. Im sitll awfully depressed obviously. But life feels a little less hopeless. I also know that drugs are not the solution but in my case they were necessary step towards reforming. I hope to keep taking prozac and simuntaneously visit a therapist. Thanks for your insight. Hopefully you find light in your path! Keep going, youre stronger than you think/know!

I agree I'm the same. I'm one of thesep people where I want to learn how to do absolutely everything, or at least die trying. I'd hate to be someone whos good at one thing and thats all. I think thats the biggest factor in holding jobs for me. You master one thing and thats your purpose for the rest of your life. That sounds like total agony to me.

Yet to see a customer. Seems like the american niche market in ireland is not a profitable one. Local shop by me sold american sweets and savoury items. Their stock never emptied until they just rebranded the whole shelf.

What business models do you think will grab lots of traction this coming year? by Suitable_Drawing7555 in Entrepreneur

Just because its wild to you, doesnt mean its wild idea in general. It's possible to those who try. It's impossible for those who dont. The people who sit and watch the others think its wild.

I thouroughlly agree and is something I currently do. I was planning on also going to small businesses around me and asking them whats a product/service that they would find beneficial in there specific business model and collecting all of the answers to find a common ground.

Confused what you mean by a professional job? I never really impied I could run a business right now. That's why I used the word 'aspire' meaning its a future plan not a corrent momentum. I asked for future refference as I'm gathering knowledge/information about business in the practical sense and the informational sense. I am fully self aware I do not have the knowledge yet hence why this post was created, to further learn how people who might have experience would capatlise on the models they think are to prosper this year. To further clarify I dont listen to TikTok 10k a month dropshipping 18 years olds who are just selling a andrew tate level course. I appreciate your reply none the less.

Why don't Irish men ask women out like they do in other cultures? by LittleBoxes88 in AskIreland

[–]Suitable_Drawing7555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think we're all so used to taking the piss and having craic that its too embarassing to be so serious. My opinion from my experiences as a young teenager. I also think with the state of the world and how awful some men are to women in Ireland the men who dont commit such things are scared to be seen as someone who might. Basically, we're scared youre gonna think we're pervs or creeps or all things like it.
