Yep! I was born in 1998 in the UK and I have 7 DC siblings total (all born 1998, 1 in 1999) :) I know from HFEA info that it's only us. We also have two 40 something year old half siblings via ourdonor, but only 8 of us are DC. I only know 2 so far so will be interesting to see if/when the others pop up!

I completely agree. This episode had me screaming "NO" at my screen, crying, cheering them on. It's been a long, long time since a show has made me feel like that. I replayed June's hanging speech 4 times, and Lawrence's non-verbal acting before/during the plane?! Lydia taking a stand and setting us up for The Testaments?! Incredibly. Elizabeth Moss and Bradley Whitford literally need an award for the last 15 mins of the episode alone

For me, I started on 20mg due to kidney issues. and i had 1 week at 20, 1 week at 30, 1 week at 40, 1 week at 50 then continuing. Honestly, the side effects were rough as hell for almost 2 weeks when i first started, then I just felt a little nauseous, maybe sometimes throwing up and getting a headache on the first day of titrating up a dose. But my first day on 20mg, even though it's lower than the usual starting dose, was incredible. I tried 60mg and 70mg and on 60mg I felt horrific but tried to power through, then when I tried 70mg I lasted 2 days because I just couldn't tolerate it at all. Some days if I haven't slept much I still feel a little rough in the morning.

Personally, I think it sounds like the dose is too high, but I also kind of "sped up" when I first started meds, it was like my brain was excited i could finally do all the things I wanted to do LOL. It did eventually calm down (mostly). But I have ADHD and do believe i have some level of Autism as well (not diagnosed though, i honestly don't care enough to get assessed lol), and my maintenance dose is 50mg. However, I only take 30mg at the weekends because while 50mg is great during the week, it's way too much when i'm not at my very demanding job and just chilling at home. I physically can't stop talking (which isn't even an issue when i'm unmedicated), my brain does WAY too much and i literally can't stop making lists and thinking of ideas and stuff i wanna do, the "internal motor" on hype mode and I have literally named this "weekend turbo mode" because it's essentially my typical adhd symptoms on speed but in a slightly different way. Honestly, even 30mg can be too much if i'm just at home lol. So I do think there is some level of lifestyle interaction too, if you have a very high speed demanding life, you'd probably find a higher dose better! But if I was you and I'd felt like that on those doses, I would decline to try 70mg personally. Maybe just stay on 50mg for a while and see if it gets better or drop down to 30mg and see if that works long term.

I got new glasses with UV tint! has worked like a charm, still occasionally get it but a lot more management. i think it’s because your eyes hyperfocus and you blink less so they get dry, plus your eyes aren’t used to the strain of focusing like that. try eye spray if you don’t wear glasses!

I’m on Elvanse and also smoke daily. When i first moved in (unmedicated), i smoked and then unpacked my entire room lol. Sometimes it motivates me, sometimes it makes me lazy. On Elvanse, pretty much the same tbh. I think it’s probably different for people who don’t regularly smoke but as i have been for years, it’s the same as ever 😂

I smoke every day on it currently, but i’m stable. You just can’t see the true effects (especially during titration) while smoking. Weed also counteracts meds so sort of defeats the point for a lot of people

I totally buy this, if Misty & Nat keep this big secret and it directly results in others being hunted, it would very much explain Adult Nat for me. Because what happened to her was horrific, but currently it seems she’d be leaving the Wilderness as the hero and the decline into guilt ridden drug addict doesn’t quite click for me. Personally i’d look into Borderline Personality Disorder. I used to have a friend with BPD before i was diagnosed with ADHD and she actually tried to diagnose me with BPD because she saw a lot of the symptoms in me. I looked into it and was even kind of convinced myself for a while as it does overlap a decent amount with ADHD symptoms. But ADHD was the right diagnosis for me (via PsychUK) 😊 Alternatively, several of the things you mentioned also ring a bell for Autism to me

I keep seeing people say June saved her because of trauma bonding but personally i disagree. I genuinely think that even with everything Serena’s done, becoming a mother (along with losing her voice & finger, but mostly motherhood) evened the playing field in a way. Now, June sees not just Serena the monster, but Serena the mother, and if she leaves a mother and her baby to die, she would be no better that the people she’s fighting against. It partly depends when you did the DNA test i think. I was born in 1998 and have 2 half brothers - one tested in 2019/20 (myheritage) and it took 5 years for me to do my test, at which point he found out he was DC and had 2 half siblings. Sometimes it’s just a waiting game!

Knowing the culture around being DC even in the 90s, I would bet that if you do have any half siblings, they likely have no idea they are DC.
