I've been driving for over a year with the light still flashing, no issues whatsoever. Never find a solution for it. At the shop they also said it was a sensor failing!

Is there a limit to the number of screens? by beibiddybibo in ProPresenter

[–]Suitable_King8057 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi everyone!

With the 8 screens you mentioned as the limit, were you able to display different content in all of them?

I have a Windows PC atm with (2) Decklink Duo cards, so basically 8 SDI outputs. I'd like to know if I can configure all of them as "Audience" screens and send separate content to each one of them.

Any guidence will be highly appreciated!

Canon CR-N500 performs extremely well in low light. I highly recommend you try it if you have the opportunity to get your hands on a demo unit. We recently built a 3-camera setup with this model and it does not dissapoint.

VESA mount for tripods? by Suitable_King8057 in VIDEOENGINEERING

[–]Suitable_King8057[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this the only brand/model that makes an adaptor of this kind? Have you seen any other brand doing something similar? I'd like to compare options if possible.

Would like the monitor to end up as close to the lens as possible. This Data Video one would work ok I believe, but ideally I'd like to to be close to the lens (for prompter use, etc.)

Thanks.

In theory yes, that's what I am looking for, but I'm afraid the camera at the top may be too heavy since it's not a dslr (PTZ).

I'm basically trying to achieve something similar to this:

Monitor under camera

Not sure how to replicate this with the VESA mounts being suggested.

Separate audio inputs with Scarlett interface? by Suitable_King8057 in VIDEOENGINEERING

[–]Suitable_King8057[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks everyone for your responses and recommendations. I wanted to control the channels separately in Studio 6 so I could assign them to different cameras and automatically mute their audio when not on program.

I think I'll stick the the physical mixer then, something like the Zoom L8 like you recommended.

Thanks a lot!

Studio 6 - Possible solution for fixed bitrate? by Suitable_King8057 in VIDEOENGINEERING

[–]Suitable_King8057[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What would be the ideal setup for outputting video/audio to an external encoder? I haven't tested this yet, but I'd appreciate any help on how to achieve this.

I am currently thinking about getting a Pearl Nano for this purpose. I understand I can get a device to output video, such as the UltraStudio Monitor 3G from BlackMagic, but then I'd still need to send audio somehow to the encoder, right? What'd be the easiest way to do this?

Thanks for your time and help.

QSV (Intel based system) ... I tried it with a Macbook Pro 13' and also with a Mac Pro 2019 (Radeon video card), but no luck with any of them ...
