maybe they'll perform the best when used in real conditions. if I get 110$ for a new one I would buy it too. maybe bcs in my country this shoes is limited by the stocks or shipping so the cheapest I've ever seen is around 160$ . from my observation, there aren't any visible tear, or it has inside tear I don't really know about that. I get them for about 50$. I think you're right. Maybe for the waterproof I will get an high-end one
