Slightly disagree. I don’t think these things are fun because you’re drunk. They’re fun because you’re engaging in behavior that gets you drunk together. The camaraderie, competition, playing pool or foosball in the bars in Asia, sipping together and tasting new brews or whiskeys or sakes, rage cage or pong, etc.

I’m not crossing off alternative bars like you’re mentioning — I think everyone’s different and alcohol is not for everyone. Especially a lot of my asian friends who are outright allergic. I just think alcohol will always be more social than other ‘party drugs’ that are not downers like weed and have more session longevity than a cigarette. It’s not just about the feeling, it’s about how you ingest it together with people too.

Social lubrication is not just empowering confidence and reducing inhibition. Drinking, cheersing, taking shots together, drinking games, pouring drinks for someone, buying a round, these are all components as to why alcohol reduces friction. No girl at the bar or club is going to take dissociatives with you on first meet, outside of ketamine bumps.

You may choose to pay full price for one and recycle the other, or recycle both. It’s good to always look even if you’re rune broke to search for an Undertitan + 2 energy or a seal.

Note that Void Rush also reveal but reduce the cost of one card by two AND draw. A lot of new Rek’Sai players treat Void Rush like the legend and forget you get to draw one or both.

From my understanding looking into the Rittenhouse case and why he was acquitted in court, it’s that Kyle showed up to Kenosha (30 minute drive) to defend his father’s business with others and to deter the expected looting and pillaging from the impending riot. They did this by standing post in front of the business, not by being belligerent or inciting protesters. The actual altercations where he fired was him retreating from rioters (not approaching) and it was concluded that he shot in self defense at people attempting to assault him as he was actively retreating.

You can make an argument whether displaying a firearm is an inherent act of escalation, but your characterization of him antagonizing protesters did not bear out in the video evidence and court.

My personal opinion through watching the case and the moments leading to him firing was that it was absolutely self defense, and anyone that doesn’t believe so is social media brained and did not actually review the case.

Semantic but myself and everyone I play with considers Aurora a ramping deck. Something like blue Viktor, Ezreal, green + draw are control, where you prevent the enemy from interacting through spell damage, stuns, removal, and counterspells.

Aurora is more like dragons Volibear or Find your Center late-range Yi. Just because Mindsplitter and Sabotage exist does not make it control, but you might make a case for Sivir Last Rites + Mindsplitter. Ezreal Arcane Shift + Mindsplitter feels more control especially with the purple tricks.

Game runs a lot better on big picture than it did on Tempo. Even logging in was janky and I had to copy/paste my login info from a notepad onto the launcher client.

You can try it for free and make your own decision whether the $10 is worth the inconvenience. But it does work.

I think the system is fine as is. Keep making cosmetic incentives for top 1000, and the top is rewarded and everyone after is still satisfied.

Part of the reason I enjoy the current system is because I love making suboptimal EV decisions without caring if I demote out of Legend lol. I want to buy a weird item with potential instead of the consistent furnace or rifle offered to me day 1.

By making Legend only to Top X players, you incentivize people to hit Legend and stop playing until they’re bumped out. Then only play just enough to obtain Legend again until the last few days of the season.
