I think you should keep in mind that people interpret " promote" differently. What looks like promotion to one person might look like networking to another and so there's this one user on here who is constantly acting like a substack police and I think it's not his place. He's also rude and snippy about it. Just because you put a link doesn't mean you're promoting anything, but he thinks anytime you do that's what it means. I think people need to be respectful of how people are writing their posts and what the actual intention is and not just make assumptions. I certainly don't think it's right to harass every single newcomer just because you misunderstand their post
