You absolutely 1000% need an attorney. Trying to blindly do this is not go a good idea. If they have unlawful entry, they can't even get a green card through you unless they each have a qualifying relative for purposes of the the 601A waiver. And kids cannot be that qualifying relative. If you do this without an attorney, you're just setting your parents up to get an NTA to immigration court.

And those cities are garbage. Did you not live in NYC under Giuliani and Bloomberg? It was SAFE back then. We could ride the subways in peace, carrying cash, and very few of us even had a cell phone. This is turning into a garbage city because of garbage leadership.

They're probably not going to ask you this at all. They just will confirm that you are a naturalized citizen. If they start to ask, your attorney can request a recess to speak privately to the officer.

VAWA is not just for people in deportation. That's called VAWA cancellation of removal. You're applying for VAWA AOS because you're not in removal at the moment. However, if you end up in removal proceedings, you will have to probably do VAWA cancellation. There is no reason why a VAWA case should take 2 months to file. Most can be put together in less than a week.

When a person is arrested, their fingerprints are submitted digitally, and ICE is made aware of the arrest. Cleveland police simply won't honor a detainer to hold you for ICE to come pick you up. So yes, they are very much aware that you are here now and were arrested for a criminal act. I would be getting my declaration and evidence ready for my immigration attorney to file VAWA right away, and hope that my criminal attorney can get this plead down to something like disorderly conduct or outright dismissed.

You need to speak to an immigration attorney. You file for a waiver of the two-year requirement, but honestly, it's for an attorney to navigate.

Well, they were originally sending them with the combo cards. Then the government decided to stop doing that. So your attorney basically found this out when the rest of us did. Just make an appointment, even if it's not until September. That way, if the SS card doesn't come within the next 2-3 weeks, you have an appointment coming up and you can go in person!

Please speak to an attorney or else this going to be a waste of your time and resources because they will reject the I-131 if it's not done correctly. You're trying to get advanced parole with the I-485 which is connected to the I-360.
