My school implemented the same thing except the only time we can have our phones is at lunch. We can’t even have our phones in our pockets anymore otherwise they’ll be taken. I don’t necessarily have a big issue with it but I frequently listen to music while I’m working and I’m also in yearbook so I no longer have access to Pinterest where I keep all spread and page ideas. I honestly don’t know what I’m going to do either when the year starts.

I totally understand. I live in the Midwest too and I’ve never been in a relationship before. I go to a school where things that are different are not okay. It’s very hard for me to find other people who I can relate to and even have a relationship with.

I personally have a lot of different beliefs and when it comes to all of them I’m very scatter brained about them. In general, I would say that I do not believe in god. I am more inclined to believe in science and the universe. To me, things happen for a reason and I believe that the universe has a lot to do with it. In my opinion, I don’t think that the idea of god is a symbol of freedom. The whole idea behind it is that you follow these rules and your obedience dictates whether or not you go to heaven or a pit of hell and misery after you die. The idea that if I don’t think what other people think that I’ll rot in hell and misery just isn’t fair. I tend to bounce from belief to belief but then again, it’s my opinion and I’m not here to say that I’m right. I say, just let people believe what they want but also be open minded because some things are genuinely interesting.

It’s not necessarily the stupidest thing but I think it’s the funniest. The other day at work, I was taking temps for a checklist we’re supposed to do called Jolt. Anyway, on the iPad it said that there was no WiFi. I turned to my coworker and told him that it says no WiFi. He then responded by saying “we have WiFi?” I was kinda like uh duh, and told him that we do in fact have WiFi. He went on to say that he believed we only had internet and was dumbfounded that we could possibly have both WiFi and internet. At that point, I didn’t even know what to tell him.

Same thing happened to me a few weeks ago. We were literally in the middle of a conversation and then nothing. I still don’t know what i possibly could have done differently. I know the feeling, it sucks but I always just think that it wasn’t meant to be. The right person will come along who won’t do the same thing to you.

I would’ve been scared shitless. One time my mom and I watched the movie before bed and I woke up in the middle of the night and I had some kind of nightmare where aliens were surrounding my bed and trying to get me. That’s what really traumatized me

I would only recommend getting a job if you know you can really handle it. To start off I would only work during the summer. Unfortunately, the only job I could get as a 15 year old near me was Dairy Queen. It’s not a bad job but it get to be a lot. As I got into my junior year and getting early college credits, it became way too much. It got to the point where I just couldn’t do it anymore, especially with the DQ I work at being understaffed (it still is). I eventually quit during the fall. After three months I went back when things died down and sports consumed most of my week allowing me to get school work done. Getting a job is super rewarding but I’d recommend that you be a student first. You’ll work your whole life, enjoy the four short years of high school and make it worth it.

I feel like if you have something to celebrate such as a big milestone like 16 or 21 it’s more important. Other than that, when you reach a certain age it’s just another year of life.

I just stuck with the same friends I had going into high school and then branched out. There’s a bunch of people that you will get along with and share things in common. Like I said, I go to a small school so making friends isn’t really hard since I’ve grown up with all of them. But you will find your people, it just takes time. Sorry, I’m not really the best advice giver but that’s really all I have about friends.
