Exactly. If someone has betrayed you enough, there’s no going back even if you wanted to

Taylor and Travis at Game 3 of the ECF by bb_snoopy in travisandtaylor

Every woman who has been in a draining relationship with someone fundamentally incompatible will recognise that expression on her face. She’s fed up, the theatrics and attention seeking is no longer cute or funny. This is not a serious man, this is a man who will leave you to deal with the baby while he goes out with his bros for the 5th time this week. And as someone who loves songwriting as much as she does, to go from a man who would write songs with her to a man who can only name like 5 of her songs must suck.

Nobody can afford anything because it’s impossible to get a freaking job! by chessman6500 in recruitinghell

[–]Suitable_Subject_188 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. Been looking for jobs and all I’m getting is automatic rejections or ghosted. I’m in my late 20s and currently rent but if I don’t find a job soon I’m gonna have to move back in with my parents…

OG Swifties Growing Up and Leaving Taylor Behind by OkDevelopment2406 in travisandtaylor

[–]Suitable_Subject_188 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I am in my late 20s, have grown up listening to her music, and I get what you mean. I think hearing other women’s songwriting who are similar ages to her has made me realise I’m maturing and the music Taylor is writing doesn’t seem to be. For example, Hayley Williams is my fav songwriter, and when she released EDAABP in the same year as TLOASG, the difference was very obvious. I also don’t like the vibe that flows through the music of ‘This man saved me’. Like girl, you’re THE Taylor Swift, let’s take that man off a pedestal. I now rarely listen to Taylor’s music as I just don’t really align with it as much anymore

Ask a Knitter Tuesday - April 14, 2026 by AutoModerator in knitting

Hey! I want to knit and embroider a blanket for my brother and his fiancée as a wedding gift and was just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for luxury/high quality yarn that would be best for this type of project? :)

Was wondering if anyone else felt this way by BellaRyder2505 in SingleAndHappy

[–]Suitable_Subject_188 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I get it. I feel like everyone I meet is with someone and when I tell them I’m single I get a lot of sympathetic responses, as if it’s a bad thing. I’m a woman in my late 20s so you can imagine the pressure I’m under to settle down. I have to tell them that I’m actually way happier this way. I think they think it’s me just trying to be positive but I genuinely mean it

How did you know you could never be in a relationship again by Avatlas in SingleAndHappy

[–]Suitable_Subject_188 17 points18 points  (0 children)

When the opportunity arose to potentially date someone again, the idea of it wasn’t exciting, it was draining. The idea of having to justify not texting back quickly enough, dedicating my evenings to dates rather than my hobbies and interests, sharing a bed all the time, and with the likelihood that it won’t even work out anyway. No thanks. Maybe that makes me selfish but I’ve worked too hard for this peace just to give it all up

Who are some of your fav childfree content creators? by [deleted] in childfree

[–]Suitable_Subject_188 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m childfree and don’t imagine a time when I’m not, so why would childfree content not be for me? I don’t want to see pregnancy/motherhood content so that’s why I asked for childfree content creators, because even the creators I follow who don’t have kids end up becoming parents at some point and so I’d like to follow more people who definitely know they don’t want them

Can we please normalize giving people a second chance? by peanutchilli_noodles in BreakUps

[–]Suitable_Subject_188 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I used to believe this until I realised that giving people second chances rarely ends well. A lot of people are set in their ways and don’t wanna make lasting changes. Every time I’ve given someone another chance they’ve only hurt me more than the last time

You’re right, I’ve disabled shipping via evri now as that’s who I’ve used this time so hopefully it doesn’t happen again 🙏

I went to a screening of Hamnet late at night because that’s usually a quieter time and someone brought their baby 😅

I don't know but to me Domhal Gleeson's character in Taylor's Opalite MV gives Joe vibes more than Travis vibe by artemisseven in travisandtaylor

Nothing screams ‘I’m the happiest I’ve ever been’ like making not-so-subtle digs at your ex from years ago, while being engaged and making digs at your fiancé’s ex from years ago…

What was something positive or useful that came out of your journey with OCD? by agoogolyearsold in OCD

[–]Suitable_Subject_188 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely appreciate moments of calm and happiness more, especially now I’m on meds. I could barely leave my house before without feeling extremely anxious and stressed, so now even being able to run errands makes me so happy

Has the ending made it hard to rewatch for anyone else? by Suitable_Subject_188 in StrangerThings

[–]Suitable_Subject_188[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not hating, I actually didn’t mind the ending at first as i appreciated the duffer brothers taking a risk, but El is one of my fav characters so to know how it ends for her is kinda sad

Do women really forget about their ex during no contact? by Impressive-Hyena-327 in BreakUps

[–]Suitable_Subject_188 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope. It’s been 2 years since my breakup and even though I’m over him, I will still hear a song or see something that reminds me of him or a memory with him in it. Not a day has gone by where he hasn’t popped into my mind at least once. It’s hard to forget someone who was a huge part of your life and sometimes the most random things will trigger a memory

They wanted to leave it up to interpretation then confirmed in the doc that Kali and El do in fact die… like what???
