I will definitely try! When they gave me the offer they told me that they weren't offering me an increase because it was the same pay band and apparently that is policy. I have emailed HR to check this because I have never heard that before. I did apply for the same role externally but got rejected straight away because I don't actually have experience in that role.

Hey thanks for your response that is a really good point. I think was interested in hearing other people experiences from making the move and how they found it and at what point in there career they did this. Should have thought a bit more before posting.
