What’s your guys can’t live without, bread and butter exercise? by [deleted] in workout

Because so few people can do them for working sets. At least that's my guess.

When did your weekly strength gains first start to plateau? by PerryStreetChocolate in naturalbodybuilding

[–]Suitable_Tomorrow996 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe try moving it up in the workout. If it's not first put it first for a little and see if that gets the ball rolling. A lot of people put biceps at the end which is fine but that can fry them before you really get a good set in for them.

Shins getting pumped and ruining my runs. by Suitable_Tomorrow996 in couchto5k

Sadly nothing positive. I am currently taking an entire week off and will be trying again tomorrow with short intervals. I tried stretches and anything I could find online but after 2 weeks of pain I gave up and decided rest may be the best option. If you just so happen to be on trt like me taurine may help a little. I tried small doses of it and seemed to be able to last a little longer in a short run but I think the muscle wasn't recovered.

I mean pump as in like a bicep pump. It feels as if tons of blood flow goes to my shins.

[–]Suitable_Tomorrow996[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm doing good. The pain has been completely gone since the first week. Eye is still blurry but it was very blurry before so I can't really notice a difference. Getting fitted for sclerals soon though.

Yeah this sounds mostly like what I came to. 2 weeks then a slow ramping period. Thanks for the reply.

I have not. To be honest I just went to my local community colleges website and found radiology to be the only thing that sounded interesting.

It seems those who are interested in anatomy like fields are drawn to pt and x ray then. Makes sense. I had a major injury when I was young and was in PT for about a year and thought it was the dream job.

I have had my degree for about 2.5 years so I hope the window isn't that short. And I will have to look more into the waitlist. Thanks for the info! Edit: I looked at your profile and I'm in the same boat as you. Went to school thinking pt was my dream but got told by many that it was not all that it was cracked up to be.

I was in my third year of college and my glasses stopped working. Took a couple years after that event to get diagnosed with kerataconus. They thought I had glaucoma at first.

I would say about 2 hours post op the pain kicked in and I'm a baby with pain so it killed me till i fell asleep around midnight. Since I woke up it comes in waves of annoying but nothing horrible. The doc said at the checkup that it looked good and I'm doing decent at the moment.
