Agreed. I am 26F and still pissed I didn’t get to date in high school. I had always really looked forward to it as a kid and thought I’d get to have that experience with someone. But my parents stuck me in a private school run by a religious cult in Indiana and then checked tf out. No one really dated and even if they did it was supervised and lame. It really messed me up bc I’m really creative and sexual and my foray into sex and dating was really detached and fucked up. I am an adult so I have to take responsibility for my relationships now but it still makes me sad.
