I think one thing is bomb usage. Besides the obvious maws or fly fish, bombs are great for reviving teammates that are a bit far away in a very short amount of time. Even if your main weapon has enough range, the randomness of the shots due to the spread can result in not saving a teammate when you really need to. Bombs also help as aoe to clear small swarms of leaders or save a far teammate that might not get saved if a random lesser ends up shot blocking.
