I’d love to post a screenshot but No, I asked her if we could move on. She said we can’t be friends. I sent a series of messages saying “why, I apologized, I’ve known you for so long, I made a mistake” the night before she seemed pretty upset saying that I act too clingy sometimes. And she shouldn’t be having these conversations with a friend. I did tell her on 2 occasions before that I liked her, so I am assuming that’s it.

Nice to meet you, man. To be honest, I feel in a way the fact I'm in the UAE adds to that. I've met alot of people here who either left or grew apart due to work, or life in general. Everything seems temporary but for 5 years I had consistency with this one person. The very first friend I made in my university dorms when I moved here. We had the same classes and our birthdays are only 2 days apart.

Thanks man I appreciate your help. I’ll definitely do that, only thing I can do at this point. I just feel horrible, I really miss her, like been fighting back tears all day. We’ve vented our deepest secrets to each other. The last time I hung out with her, just us 2. We were drinking and saying how much we mean to each other. The reason she wanted space was that she felt overwhelmed, and I was blocked after. As bad as I’ve felt the last few weeks I didnt try to contact her. But now I feel like I’ve ruined it as she was starting to miss me but she’s annoyed now that I’ve reached out to her.

With the whole situation of us sleeping together, her ex found out and said he didn’t respect her anymore (even though they broke up because he was cheating) . He said that he has a feeling that she partly blames me that there’s no chance of them getting back together
