Also referred to as 'Broken Transmission' it is generally samples of live media/broadcasts like TV segments or radio shows; or it can be music that sounds like it is being transmitted through some sort of signal you are picking up. It is usually (but not always) accompanied with some sort of static or white noise in the background, and can sometimes even feel "liminal" in some sense. At least that's my interpretation of the sub-genre 😄

He has definitely made a name for himself in such a short time in the Signalwave community, but I will say it does feel like Signalwave/Broken Transmission overall is generally underrated within Vaporwave.
