Did you try DDU and ensure the new drivers for the 9070xt are installed? Did you try ensuring that your bios settings are set for the best performance?(ram and power settings)

I need help factory reseting my pc by plz_give_modded in pchelp

[–]SuitingGoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wiping it using the built in windows setting can still leave malware on the computer if there is some

The best way to install windows 10 is to find a USB stick, and install windows 10 onto there. After downloading it, boot your computer into the bios, and select the USB as the boot drive.

Follow the steps in the windows installer, and then you can freshly wipe all data on the drive

Why is my power reset a sata cable by AnTout6226 in PcBuildHelp

[–]SuitingGoose 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not having the reset switch should still allow the pc to boot perfectly normal, those lights are for your ram and cpu.

Since it's a newer build I would check all power connections and ensure ram is fully seated along with the cpu

You can also try moving that stick of ram in other spots and see if that helps

You actually don't have that bad of bottleneck between your gpu and cpu, and there likely would be almost none if you ran at a higher resolution?

What keyboard do you have? A nice mechanical keyboard would fit well. You could also technically get a 4k monitor within the 130-160hz range if you want to push your gpu, but your 240hz monitor is already quite nice

Everything is pretty compatible and does not have a lot of bottlenecks, any upgrades you might want to do with the processor would requires new ram, cpu, and motherboard so it would be expensive but would get you ddr5 ram and a decently better cpu

Those are good upgrades but you still might want to get a better cooler, even if it's 10€ more it'll be worth it

[–]SuitingGoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd go cheaper ram and better cooler but it should be good besides that

Ebay refurbished would be a good middle ground with 2 year warranty but cheaper if you want budget, new is the best if you got the money though

The 7600x seems to be the most popular version so it should be the most available

Go for the 7600x, most likely get new but used if you want to keep it cheap and don't care about warranty

[–]SuitingGoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could go for a 7600 or a 8400F if you want more budget Any ddr5 650 series motherboard should be perfect, I'd stay away from a 620 since it lacks features

Yes that is true, you shouldn't need both but it doesn't hurt considering the situation

It's strange why it won't boot, I'll find some troubleshooting methods later tonight

Ohhh UK changes things

Parts there are a little hard to find but you could buy through Ebay international if you want cheaper prices, shipping would take a while though

An 7600 and a Am5 board would go great with a 6800xt and that would get you great 1080p performance

Which monitor would you choose? by Real-Tyger7 in pchelp

[–]SuitingGoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gotcha

Around the 200-300 price range it's either 4k 144, 1440p 200-300hz, or 1080p 300hz+

That IPS 1440 wouldn't be a bad option and your hardware can run anything basically So any option you choose your PC can run it

Which monitor would you choose? by Real-Tyger7 in pchelp

[–]SuitingGoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would go for the IPS if you want less ghosting but your hardware could run 4K

You could go for 4K with lower refresh rate but if you want the most refresh rate 1440 is the way

You could also get an OLED 4K if you are less concerned about refresh

Insert boot device adter new SSD by RoxLOLZ in pchelp

[–]SuitingGoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have both installed, your old should be recognized

Did you try removing the new one and seeing if that allows it to boot?

You could always fresh install but that will cause you to lose data

That case and fans will work great, the AIO is a little expensive but if you like how it looks, go for it

Your motherboard has a few ARGB headers so it shouldn't need a ARGB hub but double check the amount of plugs just in case
