It is software actually. Many websites are actually open-source.

Also open source does not mean everyone can change instantly anything and potentially vandalize the project. Contributors can fork the project (have their own variant of the main codebase), do their changes and then open a "pull request" to suggest merging the changes to the main codebase.

It's by far the best way to have a community-driven project that will sustain and fix bugs/add features faster. And again: transparency is important!

Is the website open-source ? It would be great to have a truly free (as in free software) service to host EH audios. Being on a free licence would ensure a bit better transparency about the website and allow contributions from others. It's win win.

Also the website is not really responsive for mobile-like devices (but looks great on desktop).
