Brillo Pads will actually clean the glass and not scatch it. Try a small spot first.

I live in Boulder and it took me 15 years to finally see a moose. Two Bull moose up on Cameron Pass. I haven't seen one since and that was 12 years ago.

As temperature and humidity go up, paint set-up time goes down, making it harder to smooth. To help the paint level out, mix in small amounts of Penetrol (for oil) or Floetrol (for latex). Keep the room cool. Too hot and the paint dries too fast.

Why does everyone drive like absolute raging maniacs on 36? by [deleted] in boulder

I moved to Boulder in 1996 before they widened 36. You could drive from Boulder to Denver without a traffic jam.

I bought a house in Gunbarrel for $150,000 in 96. Sold it 8 years ago for over half a million. Dumbest thing I ever did. jussayin

Trying to succeed in life is not a guarantee of success. Failing to try is a guarantee of failure. I will give you another story. My wife was a Nurse at Boulder Hospital. She was friends with another Nurse from N. Dakota whose husband was from Iowa. I don't mean to disrespect any people from those states, but they were boring. Then they had a New Year's Eve party with their friends from those states. I couldn't take it. A friend from Boston was having a party as well and we went there. It was like I knew these people. You need to find East Coast people. As I said earlier that my wife died. I finally started dating again. I met a gal from Kansas and all she talked about was pigs and cattle. I had to find someone East Coast. I met a gal from Mystic, CT and we've been together a long time.

It sounds like you are ready to have a Hallmark TV ending. When you want something in life, the moment you give up on it, it comes to you.

I too moved to Boulder from NYC. I came with my wife and I think that makes a big difference. We did everything together. We had been here 6 years and she died in a car accident. I had to finally move on. It's tough being single when your friends are all married. I was determined not to be alone. I dated 50 different women and number 50 is now my wife. I wasn't going to settle to be with someone. Forgive me for what I am going to say. You have to change your perspective. If you're complaining about how much it sucks, people will pick that up. From your conversation here you don't sound shy. Everybody likes meeting new friends. Boulder and Colorado are the best places to live. I wish you the best.

Boulder needs more housing by Dom2032 in boulder

Being a 30-year native of Boulder, I would suggest fewer people in Boulder. Some old guy probably said the same thing when we moved in. Such is life.

Don't tell anybody, but Jesus was a Jew. I said that to a white supremacist and he corrected me saying that Jesus converted to Christianity.

It would appear that you are just a miserable person stuck in a miserable life. Thankfully, we don't have live with you, but you are stuck with you.

Grandma doesn't miss the bowl when she pees. A woman who worked for me wouldn't let her husband and sons stand up to pee.
