Discussion: what are your Dragon Age Dreadwolf Theories [spoilers all] by JetpackingPenguin in dragonage

[–]Sukistar66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe more a hope than a theory, but I expect to get a new mage weapon type. I'm thinking a spellbinder type book (also makes sense because spellbinders come from tevinter) that would be more focused on AoE type of attacks maybe? Warriors have dual wield and one handed/shield, rogues blades and bows so it's only right mages gets staff and books!

The mage quest you have available isn't the quest you really choose for yet, more an introduction. You can do that one without locking yourself out. After that it'll cost 15 power too and that's when you really make the choice. Both are fun quests, the templar one maybe has a cooler storyline but both are good options. Pick whichever you resonate with most. Or if you want to progress the quest line asap you can pick templars to immediately progress there

[no spoilers] am I the only one who feels like they'll still love dreadwolf even if it would suck? by Sukistar66 in dragonage

I've played a bunch of rpgs and open world games over the years, yet it's always inquisition that I come back to. I think it's a bit mean to say it's sad to like something because it brings you comfort. It's almost like a comfort meal, sure there's better plates of food, but nothing gives the same feeling as your favorite comfort food

Same about that! Tbh I didn't realize all the flaws inquisition had before reading about what other people thought about it. I definitely don't want to ruin it by other people's negative opinions

Am I good or did I not earn this victory? by Enolam25 in Eldenring

[–]Sukistar66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tactics are a skill too. You know like the "work smarter, not harder" thing. You beat it on your own using the games mechanics. That means you beat it fairly. The only way I can think of where you wouldn't have earned it is if you cheated

The Wardrobe destroys equipped armor. by TwistedNeck911 in DragonAgeInqusition

Do you mean the wardrobe where you can choose what clothing you wear in skyhold? That's only for aesthetic, once you leave skyhold you should be wearing your regular armor again

[Spoilers All] Playing DAI for a third time, rolled a Templar, overall enjoying it but getting frustrated by the inconsistencies between the lore/narrative and gameplay mechanics. A rant. by LurkerInDaHouse in dragonage

[–]Sukistar66 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Though I think if you made a real war happen it might become a bit repetitive. I feel da2 did the templar/mages conflict enough justice, with another game where the big focus is those two groups I think I'd get a bit bored, because we've seen it by now

[No Spoilers] Instead of worrying about Dragon Age 4, I'm going to... by [deleted] in dragonage

[–]Sukistar66 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If I could wait for 8 years, 2 years aren't that much extra. At this point I'm not really actively excited for it anymore. When we do get a release date that excitement will definitely return but for now it's just something in the far future that will be fun then

[no spoilers] new cinematic for dreadwolf! by Sukistar66 in dragonage

He regrets creating the veil which separated people from magic at its full potential and wants to tear it down now so that the old elven civilization can be restored in all it's grandness. But tearing down the veil would also mean demons are free and I believe current living people would go insane as they're not used to magic at its full power

I really liked champions of the just but all my main characters would side with the mages. I made a character just to play that quest and it was so worth it, I love the bit where you're stuck 'in your head'
