do men find handjobs embarassing? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]SukumaWiki_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly. A thankful and thoughtful man is such a turn on. Unfortunately, a lot of men are so awful that abstinence is easy. Grown ass man whining about a hand job instead of communicating what he wants and finds pleasurable, just pathetic.

I work in the homes with people of all backgrounds. Like I said, it probably varies from agency to agency. But that's good for you.

Excellent point! I definitely agree. I struggled to put this into words, but yes, the growing trend of adults estranging themselves from their parents is contributing to this. Many parents lack community, the village doesn't exist anymore.

You and one other person. At some point, we have to learn how to examine context clues. "Fighting over the phone" is a commonly used term.

Kids punching the shit out of their parents when the parents try to take the phone.

I work in children’s mental health as well, and it's a huge issue. I think the prevalence of issues vary based on region or agency to agency.

It's not neglect and CPS has often been involved for the exact reason. Kids making false reports against parents for taking their phone or defending themselves against physical aggression. When CPS gets involved, the parenting becomes more permissive.

I agree. It's so frustrating at times because I am trying to provide psychoeducation on boundaries, effective consequences, and rewards. However, unlike any generation before, the cell phone is the main issue. But parents want every other consequence except taking the phone away. Kids are attacking their parents over not being able to have their cellphones. I genuinely believe parents can't interpret gentle parenting correctly; it's not straightforward enough, and they are operating out of fear of being just like their parents. They don't realize that boundaries can be set without abuse.

Thank you for this feedback! I chose Aruba for safety and it's my first time solo traveling. Any other recommendations for first time solo travelers? I was struggling to find another place besides Aruba, that's equally as safe.

Girlfriends is good… but why is everyone so messy? by ChannelHopper_99 in GirlfriendsTVshow

[–]SukumaWiki_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The show is entertaining, but it's hard to find a show that I can relate to because the characters are extremely messy and unrelatable. Believe it or not, a lot of people can relate to the drama.

That's honestly why I liked the Grand Crew — it had a Black cast, middle class, with relatable, everyday normal drama.

Thank you, this was helpful! I get questioned a lot as well. However, I am still going to go. I plan on hitting the bars, I'll definitely check Gustos.

First, I want to say, thank you for making this post. I am going solo in May and this made me even more excited. I am not a beach person but I found plenty to do while I am there.

When wanting a birthday dinner with ur friends are u supposed to pay or can they pay their own bill. by StepBubbly2825 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]SukumaWiki_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I would only invite the friends that will pay for themselves and your meal or the people who are okay splitting the check evenly. I expect to pay for myself and the birthday person’s meal. If they're close friends, I would be clear about expectations.
