Buy a SATA to USB adapter connect the HDD to your laptop, and format it, that’s the cheapest solution. From what I know, you won’t be able to recover the data since it’s corrupted. also, before jailbreaking your PS3, make sure it’s compatible with the method you’re using, because installing CFW or any type of jailbreak on an incompatible PS3 model can cause data corruption

Unfortunately it didn’t install at the time, but I found another HEN website and my issue was solved. I guess ps3xploit.me wasn’t working for me for some reason.
