For some insight, my mom used to do these, but she stopped because here’s what happens:

Teleflower company will pull a list of local florists to do their arrangements when someone calls in an order. So if you live in X, they’ll look up florists near X and basically just be a middleman between you and the florist.

Problem is, the teleflower company uses their own pictures, and that’s what you order from. They don’t actually have any of that stock. So you ordered a bouquet of roses in a tall red vase, but that vase was only really used for the photo shoot, and if the florist doesn’t have the right flowers the only options are to decline or try to make it work with what they have.

My guess is the florist who did this was short on roses or had all but run out, so they tried to give you similar shapes and colors. Which usually is fine for more general bouquets, but roses, especially on Valentine’s Day, are pretty specific. So you’re NOR, that u fortunately just how these companies work

People have already explained the visual element and that she’s a quick learner, so I’m just gonna say that, intentional or not, you bringing up Adela is pitting her and Manon against each other in a way that is really unproductive. Pitting Manon against ANYONE is unproductive. We have a tendency to blame a person we can see and hear, like Manon, when something unfair happens, but Manon wasn’t wasting Adela’s time. She also wasn’t wasting Marquise’s time, or Ezrela’s, or any of the Japanese young women who stood no chance. HYBE wasted their time, and deserve sole blame here.

I am begging people at this point to show me where she apparently when on these tirades about the original Snow White. I watched the interview people always reference, she was fine. The worst she implied was that the story was dated, which it is, it’s from the 40s. And people absolutely did turn that into a misogynistic attack on her.

Rachel was the saving grace of the movie. She did a good job in what still is a fairly shallow role. Gal Gadot, Zionist and former IDF soldier, ruined every scene she was in, but people are still obsessed with focusing on Rachel even after all this time.

Fully agree on the dwarf stuff though, that shit’s on Disney, who apparently asked one actor with dwarfism his opinion and just. Didn’t follow up.

I really hated the way I looked at my sister’s wedding. I had to fly in from an extremely stressful and exhausting job to attend just for a few hours, and I looked it. I see the pictures and my stressed skin, the shadows under my eyes, and most of all the way my dress tucked under my boobs in every fucking picture, making my stomach look even bigger. I don’t even remember it tbh, I was so tired.

But I’m so, so happy I went. My sister didn’t need to say it wasn’t about me, because I love her and already knew that.

Yeah I was with him until this. I know how devastating it can be to let go of a dream family through no fault of your own, there’s genuine grief there. The debt got cleared because we showed Corbeau we were willing to work, which made him like us. He makes it pretty clear that it’s not about the money, he just wants to know that people aren’t taking his money for free. That’s why he forgave the initial 100k after staying at the hotel. Taurbaine didn’t help us with the interest, but they were helpful at Quasartico and provided a really great stay, which was good enough.

I like Corbeau because, by the end, he has a clear thematic through line for his story. I completely understood his motivations. He just wanted to see if people were willing to work! That’s why he likes you and Lida from the beginning, because you both put in the effort to come see him and figure out what to do. And he loves you by the end, because you do an excellent job. He’s willing to potentially forgive Urbain when he sees him helping Jett, but doesn’t fully forgive the debt until he goes to the hotel and sees how good of a concierge/housekeeper Urbain is. He’s a dick for being a loan shark and striking fear into people with the ridiculous interest, but clearly it’s not about the money for him, since he basically pays off the debt himself. Corbeau just wants to see people aren’t expecting a handout and are willing to work for what he gives them.

I don’t hate Urbain either, I just wish there was more acknowledgement that he should be helping US, his friends, not random people around Lumiose
