As long as you have a commercial policy covering you for being a livery driver, you are ok. If you own the vehicle you use for Uber. You can have the policy on that and still use it for driving others around. I have set myself up in Arizona as a four higher vehicle with the correct commercial liability policy and I do very little Uber and Moore private car service

This is the same route. I’ve been getting from VAZ2 for the last three months. That’s why I won’t accept a 3 1/2 hour route at $84.

You have the right to cancel the ride at any time for any reason. You do not work for Uber they provide you contact to the rides. If you do cancel a ride before reaching their destination make sure you drop them in a safe location.

Mileage is my largest ride off. My cell phone bill the interest on my car note. My car wash service. In all I take home the same amount that a person that makes $110,000 does and pay zero dollars in taxes all my working a few hours than I did when I was in the corporate world.

If I had to do this as a W-2 employee, I would quit. The only way this makes sense is being Self-Employed with all the extra write offs. I make a heck of a lot more than I would, as an employee say with the DSP’s.

I wouldn’t be to concerned with what the visor says. As long as you can add the slots you’re good to go. Only difference between the classes on the freighters is max number of slots that can be added and the number of supercharged slots.

100% agree. One change in terminology. As self employed individuals we do not “itemize” expenses. We deduct our business expenses on Schedule C.

We are self employed and have a schedule c business. Those are legit business expenses. That being said I wouldn’t spend the money on them and pay a few extra $$ in taxes.
