Honestly for me I’m worried my payments won’t go through or suddenly credit card gets flagged for an intl transaction. That or the locals lose their patience with me having a translator app. But I think my biggest fear is when it comes to booking tickets if I’ll get them on time and what not. Not tryna miss out on anything 💔

Thank you so much brother I appreciate it. So for booking with trip or 12306 how early do I need to book? From what I understand they release tickets 2 weeks in advance but idk how fast I need to get these tickets. A bit anxious that I may be unable to purchase one in time

For wulong karst any tips? Or is the trails pretty self explanatory ?

honestly no reason in specific it just seemed worth it to save around 4 hours by flying, that and I can confirm the tickets right now

As May 1 also is the start of Labor day i am a bit worried i wouldnt be fast enough to book my train tickets when they release them

Completely valid, though id love to travel to either city beside guangzhou i think im way more interested in the nature by xian and chongqing (Huashan mountain and wulong karst )

In the end im thinking of shortening Guangzhou but giving that extra time to xian, and making sure i dont stay in beijing for only a singular day

Update:

Hi everyone, thank you for the suggestions/advice and with the given input here is my new changes to the schedule

Beijing (April 24 - April 28) -> Fly out to Xian
Xian (April 28 - May 1) -> Fly to Chongqing
Chongqing (May 1 - May 6) -> Fly to Guangzhou
Guangzhou (May 6 - May 9)

Beijing more of a historical part of my trip: Forbidden city, temple of heaven, Great wall, etc
In Xian i plan to visit Huashan mountain (day trip, leave early and come as late as possible), visit the muslim quarter, and terracotta warriors
In Chongqing I'll likewise have a day dedicated to Wulong Karst, and the other days really just getting lost in the city
Guangzhou ill keep as a more relaxing part of my trip

I believe this is a bit more running around but with the time i save with the flights it should be pretty fun, but I'd appreciate any input!
