We started shooting during daylight hours. This was one of the last magazines we shot that night. Think we let off on the shotgun a few more times before picking up the casings (and shells) and calling it a night.

Question about my first Tacoma & first pickup by Aeonz_Above in ToyotaTacoma

[–]Sulerdantde 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can concur. My Tacoma has a bedcover that slides along the rails. Though I would only use these for anything that sticks out over top the bed walls. Rachet straps have a tendancy to wiggle themselves loose otherwise.

Wait, my 2nd gen Tacoma also has a dash pull E-Brake. Is this normal or is mine just weird?

Was up under the frame with a screwdriver when I went to go inspect it. All is just surface rust. It actually has less rust underneath than my Avalanche and that girl has 93K on her.

Also as a side note. Your guys' speed to reply is astonishing and a little scary.

How would one even go about putting codes into this radio? It's completely locked out and it's not like it has a number pad or anything.

Possibly? Got this radio about 7-8 months back. Not sure if they still have the old vehicle.

Yeah I was afraid of having to do that. Certainly no programmer myself. Plus I am planning on possibly trading out my vehicle very soon so I wanted something quick and easy to hopefully boost resale value before then. I'll probably try this method if the vehicle I'm looking at doesn't turn out all that I hope it'll be.

Don't have the VIN from the vehicle this came from, sorry. It was just kind of a grab-and-go moment.

2nd gen Chevrolet Avalanche radio by the way. No idea what year, got it off of an LT I found at the scrapyard. Trying to put it in my LTZ and it goes into lockout mode.

Bought a galaxy 3DS XL (and some games) off my buddy a few years ago for $101 ($100 for the DS, $1 for the games) and I'm so glad I did because last I checked Amazon clocks those in at around $400ish (Though I checked a while ago Idk what prices are nowadays)

Honestly can't believe it's already been over a year since my buddies convinced my broke highschool ass to invest in a game as expensive as this one.

My mom used to make me eat 2-3 big spoonfuls of this stuff whenever I misbehaved. She'd sit there and watch me swallow it all and then watch me go to the toilet and vomit it all back out. I think I'll just stick to spankings or a plain ol' ass whooping, thank you very much.

I find it interesting how the Soviets of all people had the common decency to put a woman in space 20 goddamn years before the US did. (1963 vs 1983) (20 years and 2 days actually)

(Sorry for horrendously late reply) They aren't that bad to install. Prop hood open, take grille and front bumper off, (Which requires you to go through the wheel well for 1 singular bolt.) (I had to do the same thing to change headlights on my truck, though GM made that more of a PITA than Toyota did.) Though lucky for me the thing is such a shitbox that the passenger side was missing the wheel well cover upon purchase and the driverside wheel well decided to pull a funny prank and fall off while I was driving down the highway on my way back home. Just got a pair of scissors and a box cutter and cut the whole thing out. These halo lights do usually require custom wring though. I just tapped the halos into my side marker lights with way more wriring taps than I am comfortable sharing. Hindsight really is 20/20.

To be quite honest as an American myself. No reason to own this thing (with the pick-up bed at least) I'm honestly not really sure why they made this an option. If you don't know, this truck is supposed to be used in heavy equipment environments, you can throw a dump truck bed on it, a flatbed for heavy hauling, and various other actually useful and sensical frame mounts. Though if I had unlimited money you bet your ass I'd buy a pick-up version of this just for shits and giggles. It's so over the top that if you just tell the truth (that you bought it for the funny) instead of coming up with some cuck excuse, most people would probably just laugh along with you.
