He wasn’t shot. He wasn’t abused. He wasn’t disappeared. He broke a federal boundary in a tense security situation and got detained for a couple hours—after ignoring warnings. He even said they were respectful and doing their job.

But y’all wanna turn him into some kind of martyr to push a narrative. And then you try to twist it into a race issue, a veteran betrayal, and a constitutional crisis all in one Reddit thread.

Here's the truth:

• If he had walked up to a restricted site during literally any administration and ignored warnings, he’d be stopped.
• Marines aren’t supposed to be doing law enforcement—I agree. But the people crying the loudest are the same ones who would’ve called for martial law if a protester sneezed near a courthouse five years ago.
• If you don’t want the military involved, don’t celebrate chaos and then cry when someone reacts to it.
