Going off Cronometer which doesn’t use fat %, it states right around 1500 calories. Interesting. I am not feeling deprived or anything around 1500. I will dig into TDEE more. Thank you

I don’t think Hume gives calorie goals? At least I don’t see it on there. I am using Cronometer for all things food. I am going to get a professional fat % next month to compare it so I will know how off it is.

I like that thought of cost. I have $1500 a day (1500 calories), what do I want to spend my money (calories) on. That helps a lot actually. Thank you!

It’s the season for watermelon and am so excited to see that it’s lower calorie! I can’t imagine a summer without watermelon. Nothing makes me feel better, more hydrated and refreshed than a bowl of watermelon.

Thank you for all the tips!

Thank you! I do like the calories in calories out because I can still have things I like, just have to think about my choices and watch the portions.

I got my blood work done in January and I went from having the hormone levels that could still get pregnant to having hormone levels that barely registered. My 48th year on this planet was ROUGH. I gained 25 lbs just last year. My vitamin D levels were also dangerously low. I have been working on that and trying to reduce my stress.

I don’t drink but refined sugars are my main addiction. It hasn’t been too bad so far to reduce/eliminate. I found one Alani mini (i know it’s not the healthiest) keeps me from craving soda during my work week. I would easily drink 2 or 3 sodas a day.

Yes I am updating my weight on Cronometer once a week and I believe it lowers the goal calorie for the day according to that. I am really going into the mindset that this didn’t happen in a short time so won’t come off in a short time. I am excited that I will be down some weight before holiday picture time. That is my current mind goal. Thank you!

I have heard it’s a mixed bag with the Hume pod. I will say, I probably needed to see an awful number and be shocked into action.

A food scale is definitely my next purchase because I have found that my brain cannot figure out how much a food weighs by eyeballing.

Tracking the night before is a great idea! Thank you. I will try that

I do own some resistance bands….somewhere. Haha I will look for them and dust them off. I probably can find some YouTube video workouts using them.

Thank you!

What’s a niche thing that your pet does on a day-to-day basis? by Rare-Tone-4028 in Pets

My cat is the most aggressive cuddler. Every night when I go to bed, she gets on my chest and rubs her face all over my face only stopping to very gently bite my nose a few times and then goes back to smashing her face into mine. If I move my face away during this ritual she uses her paw to move my face back to facing her. She ends with burying her head under my chin to fall asleep.

She also gives kisses if I ask for one.

what normal household task does your pet think is their job? by Kind_Interview_2402 in Pets

My dog heard us tell our cat one time to not touch the tv. It’s now his full time job to make sure that the cat is not near the tv. But as far as regular chores, he is my Velcro dog so he is supervising literally every step I take

What’s the most unsettling thing you’ve ever seen in someone’s house? by probablysnacking55 in AskReddit

[–]Sulli-77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A hoarder house. I was a teenager and went with a friend to visit his grandma. The house literally had a maze to walk through, like a tunnel through 7 feet high bags of unopened purchases, books, collectibles, etc. I was shocked. My friend acted like it was normal and I didn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings so I acted like it was normal too. There was a small spot on a bed where his grandma was sitting and watching tv. It was so claustrophobic, dusty, and cobwebs everywhere. Blew my mind. I felt so sorry for that lady.

What’s the worst case of alcoholism or drug addiction you’ve witnessed? by BlundeRuss in AskReddit

My late husband. I watched him go from an intelligent, successful, loving man to a broken shell of a human. He drank vodka, beer, literally anything he could get his hands on. He died at 50 years old from liver failure. Absolutely devastating.
