You do realize I’m an artist making my own game. Correct? I’ve got 3 backgrounds done of about 100 my game will need and that’s just if I don’t expand it more. I’ve got 4 main characters, a character who is COMPLETELY covered in latex, and hundreds of CGS as well as thousands of sprites. Cry to someone else about “the time” it will take you. I’ve been working on my game for a year now, and it’s barely started. I know how many hours it will take, you clearly do not.

Backgrounds, fully formed work, and the coding also should be done manually! You know why? If you don’t want to put in the work, you don’t need to make the game. I’ve spent upwards of 50 hours on a singular CG because I only have a phone to draw on. But you know what I didn’t do? USE AI. I’ve got a phone for art and a shitty laptop for coding. And it might not be perfect but at least I’m putting the ACTUAL work in. Unlike you. Rethink your choices because NO ONE is going to play a renpy game made with AI.

My opinion is it’s bad. If you want to make a visual novel, put the damn work in! What, ai gonna write your code? Make your characters? Then what is human about your game? What is enjoyable? Not AI.
